Inter-City 125 'High Speed Train'
Built between 1975 and 1982, the Inter-City 125 is still going strong, after thirty-nine years!
The trains have seen a vast number of liveries along this long time, these are British Rail, Inter-City, Great Western Trains, GNER, Midland Mainline, Virgin Trains, First Great Western, National Express, East Midlands Trains, East Coast, Cross Country, Grand Central, Virgin Trains East Coast, Great Western Railway and now First Great Western Unbranded.
Inter-City 125s are the last remaining slam-door stock on the entire British Rail network (with the exception of the sleeper service) and sadly will soon be replaced by some unit by Hitachi.
Currently, only one set of coaches is in this livery.
